i am an art education major, and i can't wait to become a teacher someday! (that is, if the world doesn't end in 2012). haha.

i really love art, but i wish that i could be so much better at it. i have a terrible inferiority complex when i see really great art and compare it to the not-so-great work of my own. but...at the same time, it also inspires me to push my limits.

i don't have any art classes this semester which makes me feel disconnected from it. i know that is lame because i should be doing art for myself, not a class. oh well. maybe i will do more soon!

i am trying to explore a variety of mediums...my latest interest is photography. i feel so mediocre at it, but it is really enjoyable. and isn't that what is important? ...yes. haha.

the good, the bad, and the argyle

GOOD: i just ordered my new camera today!!! so far, i've only had my hands on a point-and-shoot, and while it works great for what it is, i've been longing for a DSLR. so my Nikon D5000 should be here by next friday at the latest! i'm really excited!

BAD: i'm so tired from standing ALL THE TIME at work. seriously. i will work for 8 hours and only sit down for 10 min.!!! but hey, at least it is never boring! and it brings in the money! haha. i really do like my job and all of the fabrics that i get to work with, but it is exhausting!
